Bike-a-palooza uses the bicycle as a source of sound and through it, sound/music for the dancers to move to. The role of the audience is to mount to four bikes placed in front of the stage; five dancers wait for the audience to start pedaling,

and thus to initiate, manipulate and stop the soundtrack to which dancers move.

The audience is who decides the breaks, the breaths, and the pace of the piece: its sound, rhythm, pulse, and speed.
